Mr.Kosona CHRIV |
Mr. Kosona Chriv, the Managing Director and co-founder of Smart International Consulting, has more than 20 years of experience under his belt in Management, Information Technology, and Business Development. A Cambodian and French national, he has decided to share his expertise with the Cambodian community in 2001 and has been a prominent figure helping both the private and the public sectors in meeting the terms of good governance and efficiency, in increasing their competitiveness in national and international trade, and in developing corporate human resource strategy. His work experience shows expanse of his knowledge and expertise; he worked as Software Designer for French pharmaceuticals, fashion, and IT companies (1984-1987), as Information Technology Manager for the National Association for Technical Research, France (1987-2001), and as Managing Director of Smart International Consulting Consulting (2003-present). He is co-author of the Cambodia chapter for the Digital Review of Asia Pacific Edition 2009-2010. He is also authored and lectured on Capacity Building courses such as Leadership, Public Relations, Project Management, Keys to Successful Marketing Strategy, and Internet Workshop for the German Foundation for the World Population. His advise on the investment strategy in Cambodia and Lao PDR is well appreciate by the international corporations in particular because he had a high level network in these 2 countries and also because the accuracy of his market information. Because of his unselfish sharing of his knowledge and expertise, Mr. Chriv received recognition for his valuable contributions in the public and private sectors. His work as Mentor to Digital Divide Data earned him an appreciation from the International Fund Corporation (IFC) and Mekong Private Development Facility (MPDF).In 2009, Mr. Chriv received a gold medal from the Prime Minister of Cambodia for his contribution to the development of Srok Sangker, Battambang province Cambodia. |

Ms. Tevy CHAN |
The success of Smart International Consulting is largely due to the dedication and the strong hard work of Ms. Tevy Chan. Since the first day of Smart International Consulting in September 2003, she believed that our services fill a gap that Cambodia need for its sustainable development therefore she had developed an international network with our colleagues in China, Korea and other Asean countries to exchange business information and business opportunity. Mr. Sereyvuth CHAN |
Mr. Chan Sereyvuth obtained his Engineer degree in Electronics and Control Systems in 1999 from ENSISA (ESSAIM) Engineering School, Mulhouse, France. He has implemented successfully many industrial projects for St. Gobain Group, a world leader in habitat and construction materials markets. After 10 years of professional experiences in Europe, he decided to move to Cambodia in 2010 to contribute to the development of Cambodia. His expertise covered many fields of Industry Sector including Survey and needs assessments, Master plan, Functional and technical specifications, Production management study, Factory layout design, Feasibility and costs study, Risks assessment, Control systems integration and migration strategies, Electrical installation, Machinery installation and Project management.

Mr. Ernest Kwatia graduated with a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Kharkov Polytechnic Institute in Ukraine (the former Soviet Union) before returning to Ghana in the early 70s. Mr. Kwatia continued his career as a lecturer at the School of Mines in Tarkwa, Ghana. He was then appointed as an Electrical Engineer and later the Stores Manager for Firestone Tyres in Ghana, where he established a critical raw materials committee that improved the supply chain and related processes. In 1978 Mr. Kwatia established the first adhesive and balloon factory in Ghana using rubber from Ghana. His concept was to improve production in Ghana using local raw materials. Mr. Kwatia’s entrepreneurship skills improved the value of Ghana's ability to increase its value add locally through the preservation of local foodstuffs. The emphasis was to be able to preserve maize and cassava and to use them also as substitutes to wheat floor for cooking. Today this concept and technology allows Africans all over the world to enjoy their local staples of cassava, plantain and cocoyam "fufu". Mr. Kwatia has since worked with the Ghanaian and Nigerian Governments to improve agro production. He has also worked with UNICEF, UNIDO. World Bank, IITA in this area. Since the Mid 90s Mr. Kwatia's focus has been on improving the local community benefits in Ghana's mining sector mainly for gold and diamonds. His view is that local developments and direct investment in people need to go hand in hand in the development of the sector. He successfully implemented investments from a Russian and an Australian company with this model. He is still an authority in the mining sector in Ghana. In 2003 Mr. Kwatia joined BICG an IT firm in Cambodia as its Managing Director. He has since been involved in Christian Service in developing the local Christian community in Cambodia.

Ms. Chenda got her Bachelor Degree of International Business from Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL- Cambodia), and she has completed her Master Degree of Human Resources Management from Pannasastra University of Cambodia (PUC- Cambodia).
